Meta: Trackbacks

April 26th, 2006 Posted in Main Page, Meta | 4 Comments »

I'm turning moderation on for all trackbacks, because the vast (and I do mean vast) majority of trackbacks I see are from spammer idjuts.  Please do use them, just know that there will be a delay.

Comment moderation remains off, and I hope to keep it that way.  Sometimes the system thinks you're a spammer though, even if you are posting from an authenticated account.  In that case it gets held for moderation.  So if you are commenting at 3am (seriously Brian, get some sleep!) and it doesn't show up right away, just know that I am probably strung out on Bon Bons and Diet Pepsi, and will get to it once the sugar/saccharine-induced coma wears off.
