    I saw this new in a couple places today, I got a cold sweat. I read in to it a bit more and it sounds like WAR is safe.

    BUT I swear if I have to sit though the damn EA logo everytime I boot it up, expect lots and lots and lots of dead bodies when I finally log on.

    Dear Fuckers,

    I rue the day you involve yourself in anything which I find to have value. I also rue the fact your games have infected by way of proximity other games which share nearby digital media! An anvil chorus of awkward malaise is not too strong a description for what you’ve wrought. Even throwing your foul, infectious contagion into the garbage was a hassle, though I don’t know if I rued it per se. Now I’m left with only the pavlovian, flinching, anticipatory twitch awaiting the clusterfuck you will surly unleash.

    Something about this screams “exit strategy”. They’ll cut DAoC like a dead branch. I hope they do well with Warhammer, but something about that screams “Warcraft Rip-off”. And yes, I know Warcraft owed a lot to Warhammer. But that’s not how it will be seen by most.

    I don’t think the simian gaming public cares if X is a rip off of Y. As long as they can kill things and buy gold with a minimum of annoyance, they’ll be there. The non-simian gaming public knows better.
