That man's entire career is built on the addictive nature of MMORPGs. The name "Evercrack" came about for a reason, and without that characteristic Smedley would be just another unknown red-haired dweeb programmer. Sure, it isn't his fault someone gets hooked, just like it isn't the fault of tobacco companies or drug dealers that their customers can't help themselves, but they sure as hell enjoy the fruits of that addiction.
