* Spoilers *

I have to say I was really surprised, because based solely on the episode, it seemed as if Marcel performed better overall. If you read Tom's blog though, it makes a lot more sense. Most of what Tom said about Marcel's dishes didn't really come out in the show. For example, the judges raved about how Marcel's dishes built up much more gradually than Ilan's, but then Tom says in his blog that the two vegetable dishes in a row seemed "odd." It sounds like the show was edited for a surprise ending.

It sure seemed like Marcel had this thing won. I did love his parting shot though, something like "I sure thought it would take more than paprika to beat me." Hey Marcel, how about some sweet with that sour?

Sorry TheeNickster, but there's always next season. :)

I just can't stand that guy's hair, he looks like a dead ringer for Puck or something, a little mischevious pos. This is all from just previews for the show too!

I couldn't agree more!

"Yes, for my final dish, some foam flavored foam with a side of foam reduction."

Only redeeming factor with Marcel is he does make some pretty dishes and his day job is impressive; Joel Robuchon!?

Ilan FTW!
