"Gamers" is a single-camera, filmed comedy TV series that throws out the typical studio production conventions and is presented in a style that Gamers can relate to and appreciate. Written and independently produced by actual Gamers, this speculative television series promises to be everything that ancient movies and TV shows like The Wizard and Captain N weren't: smart, in touch, and most importantly– entertaining to all types of Gamers.

The trailer starts off a little lame, but it gets better.  There's definitely some creative talent amongst the writers, if not with the actors (who I assume are only place-holders for the trailer pitch).  Given a budget and some real on-screen talent, there might just be a cable niche for this concept series, and it might actually be worth watching.  Hey, maybe FNC should pick it up.  My crystal ball tells me there's going to be a hole in their schedule very soon.
