I’m Worried He’s Turning Into Some Kind of Left-Coast Liberal Elitist
“If you start blaming the video games, you may as well demand video game control because it’s the same thing when you start trying to blame guns for this.”
Does it make me a bad person if I agree with him just this once? I won’t make it a habit, I swear.

Even the insane can have their moments of clarity.

I like the caller who was quick to blame video gamers and violence with the sweeping geralization that games = violent behaviour. Everyone knows it was books and the devil! Lets all burn books to keep satan out of our souls!

I think what we have heard here is the middle ground. That place where responsible people can agree regardless of their political leanings. It’s a place that is harder and harder to find in public discourse because it doesn’t get your blood pumping and your anger up to “do something” about the issue. That caller would have shelled out big bucks to “stop violence from video gaming” but isn’t interested in sending a dime to the guy who tells it like it is. Welcome to politics.

As far as I know, this psycho didn’t have anything to do with video games …..
Did I miss something in the almost non-stop coverage of this? I’m sure if they dig deep enough and long enough someone is gonna find he played something (like a lot of people) its not like video gaming is unpopular in S. Korea the mmorpg mecha of the planet Earth.
Maybe they might want to find out how this wacko slipped by getting identified by some of the countries most intellegent best educated people before he blasted all these kids and find out WTF the police were doing for 2 f*cking hours while he ran around mailing letters/videos to reporters and planning his next assault rather then chase ghost of “what if he played video games”.
