That thing still cracks me up every time I see it. In DAoC we didn’t really “raid” but we did have our own version of Leroy to contend with. He wouldn’t usually bring us much more agro than we could actually deal with, but he would bring home an awefull lot more “new friends” than your average player. Typically he would get a little bored with the pace of the pulls, and go out and pull an additional group for us. I think he thought of it as a public service of some sort. He wouldn’t annoucne it, he’s just do it. No one ever said anything about it, so I don’t think he knew we all thought he was crazy.

I do this all the time in COH, especially in pick-up groups. I get SO tired of the oh so careful XP grind. Screw the debt. Screw the trip back from the hosp/base. I want to fight 20 mobs at once. I want to get a little excited. I want to act like a superhero.
It does tend to piss the PUGs off. My usual group is of the “bullet pulled it, bullet handles it” mindset. And I can blast enough AOEs to keep the aggro off everyone else, so no harm/no foul.
