haha! Nice find. Sadly, nobody actually read McCain’s energy policy. It’s been up on his site for at least six months, from a speech he gave a few years ago. He cast energy as a national security problem (which it is) that we have known about since the 70s (which we have) and that we need to maximize all available avenues for domestic production (offshore drilling) while we pour Manhattan Project style dollars into R&D for wind, solar, nuclear fusion, and other alternative energy technologies.
But if you can’t say it in a 30 second sound bite, you might as well not say it at all.
